A Taste of Germany: My New German Baking Book Is Here!

Well, here we are again, and this time I have something delicious to celebrate!
Remember when I promised I wouldn't disappear for another two months between Flavor of the Week posts?
Well, life threw me quite the curveball.
While I was busy putting the finishing touches on my latest cookbook, my email account was hacked. And unfortunately, it didn't stop there. Several of my social media, travel, and bank accounts were compromised as well.
Believe me, trying to put Humpty Dumpty back together again has been quite the roller-coaster ride. And certainly not one I signed up for!
So yes, a few more weeks slipped by without another Flavor of the Week.
But enough about that. I've got some exciting news!
The Wait Is Over!
My brand-new German baking book, Bake It Till You Make It, is officially published!
What started in January as an idea has become a flour-dusted journey through the German cakes, cookies, tortes, and baking traditions I grew up with.
And it's so much more than a collection of recipes.
Along with beloved German treats and the stories behind them, you'll discover why ingredients behave the way they do, how to recognize when things are going right, and what to do when they don't.
Because my goal isn't simply to help you follow a recipe. It's to help you become a more confident, creative baker.
And whether you're just getting started or already have flour on your apron, there's something in this book for you.
Come Celebrate With Me!
I haven't officially launched the book yet because I'd like to give my early readers a chance to explore it and share their reviews first.
But it's available now, and I'd love for you to take a peek!
And here's a little bonus: The Kindle edition is currently available at a special introductory price of just $3.99. So if you've been curious about German baking, now is a great time to grab your copy!
If you pick up a copy, I'd be grateful for an honest review. Every review helps another home baker discover the book.
And if you love baking, why not join my Bake It Till You Make It baking community here at Rock The Kitchen?
It's a place for baking enthusiasts to connect, share their baking adventures, exchange ideas, ask questions, and learn from one another. Whether you're just getting started or already have plenty of flour on your apron, you're welcome to join us!
As for Flavor of the Week, I'm not making any more promises about when the next edition will appear.
After all, life is full of surprises. Some wonderful, others we'd happily do without!
But there's plenty more cooking, baking, and culinary inspiration to come, and I look forward to sharing it all with you.
In the meantime, whether you're trying your hand at a German baking classic or experimenting with something new in your kitchen, remember that confidence grows with every little success (and even the occasional flop!).
So keep experimenting, keep learning, and most importantly, have fun!
Let's keep Rocking the Kitchen together!
With Flavor Love,
Kerstin
